My new favourite shiny thing

It's way better than cake (though thank you for that as well), and even has "Dr L.E.S. Cole" engraved on it. I am a very lucky pre-doc. Thank you, my People of the Forest, and Jumping Joey in particular.

Since I last 'scribbled', I've had a lovely celebration of getting a bit older, thanks to many wonderful people who shared some fun, and almond croissants, with me. I would also recommend Bird Bingo, played in a charades style, on one's birthday. And ice-cream cake.

Onwards with the real world....
